Welcome back! A few deadlines are catching up with me again…let’s have some fun!
Inspire Create (#149) and Farm Quest (#34) for the themes; Krafty Chicks (#677) for the clean and simple style; Sunday Stamps (#315) for the colors; and Cupcake Inspiration (#575) for including a ribbon.

Going fishing on a misty summer morning… here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
- Background Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Smoky Slate cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
- Ribbon: (6”) Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon.
- Accent Mat: (4⅛” x 3¾”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (4” x 2⅝”) Basic White cardstock.
- Using a Blending Brush, Smoky Slate ink was added to the background to create “mist”.
- The Boat and Tree image from the retired Moon Lake stamp set was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink.
- Using a Blender Pen and ink from the Ink Pad Lids, the image was colored. Colors chosen: Boat – Calypso Coral; Water – Tahitian Tide; Grass – Lemon Lolly; Stones – Smoky Slate; and Tree Foliage – Lost Lagoon.
- The sentiment, Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated, from the Earthen Textures stamp set was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink.
- The Focal Panel was then also dry-embossed with the same Embossing Folder.
- The card was then assembled.
I like how this card reflects the stillness of a summer morning…perhaps with just the call of a Loon or two…
