Abundant Beauty Sunflower – Thinking of You

Welcome back!  A few new things arrived from Stampin’ Up! and I wanted to experiment.

Playing with the new Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks (available September 6^th) and the current colors suggested by Paper Players (#653).  I decided to create a Fun Fold card and share with Creative Creases (#63).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (6¼” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
• Left Side and Inside Panels: (1⅞” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock (cut 2).
  • The Left Side Panel was dry-embossed with the On-Line Exclusive Cross-Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder that had been inked with Blackberry Bliss on the Stampin’ Up! Logo side of the folder.
• Card Inset Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Daffodil Delight Dotted pattern paper from one of the retired Brights Designer Series Paper stack.
• Mini-Inset Card Base: (7½” x 2¾” scored at 3¾”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
• Focal Panel and Inside Panel: (3⅝” x 2⅝”) Basic White cardstock (cut 2).
  • Using Blending Brushes and all four coordinating Sunflower Masks from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks set color was added to the Focal Panel.  Colors: Flower Petals – Daffodil Delight; Main Center – Calypso Coral; Center Detail – Sweet Sorbet; and Leaves – Blackberry Bliss.
  • The Focal Panel was then also dry-embossed with the same Embossing Folder.
• Sentiment: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thinking of You, from the Coffee With Friends stamp set was stamped with Calypso Coral ink and punched out with the (1¼”) Circle Punch.
• The card was then assembled. See below:
