A little fun with some of my favorite colors…
Playing with Less Is More (#488) for the theme and Cupcake Inspirations (#574) for the colors and sharing with Critter Crazy (#77).
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Using the Quilted Embossing Technique, four Coral Reef die-cuts (two Parakeet Party and two Tahitian Tide) from the retired Sea Life Dies set were adhered to the panel.
- The panel was dry-embossed with the retired Seaside Embossing Folder to have the Coral embedded with the Waves. A little texture for interest.
- Focal Image: Shimmery White cardstock scrap from my bin die-cut with the Sea Horse die, also from the Sea Life Dies set.
- The Sea Horse was liberally brushed with Wink of Stella Glitter although it is hard to see in the photo.
- Sentiment Label: (2¼” x ½”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Just Wanted To Say…, from the Country Bouquet stamp set was stamped with Parakeet Party ink.
All elements were adhered to the card base. The Sea Horse and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.
A cute little clean and simple card suitable for any occasion.

Love your combination of images and quilted coral. Just a polite reminder that our definition of CAS includes that areas of white space do not contain embossing, so as pretty as your waves are you won’t be considered for our showcase this time.
