Summer Petals – You Make Me Smile

Welcome back!  The last day of July and for some the end of summer holidays…

A very clean and simple card for you today.  CAS on Friday (#262) has a summer theme and the fresh colors suggested by the FB SU! Colour (July) group were so summery.  I matched these two challenges up with the current Freshly Made (#596) sketch as it was CAS ideal.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Outline Leaves image from the Petal Park stamp set was stamped with 2^nd Generation retired Pear Pizzazz ink.
  • The coordinating In-Fill Leaves image was stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink.
  • Two additional single Leaf images were added the same way.
  • The Tiny Splatter image was also randomly stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink.
  • The sentiment, You make me smile, from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink.
• Flowers: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Triple Floral Outline image was stamped two times with Pumpkin Pie ink.
  • The coordinating Floral In-Fill image was stamped with Lemon Lolly ink.
  • The Flowers were punched out with the coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch.
  • The two larger Flowers were added to the panel.  One popped up with Dimensionals.

A pretty little greeting card.
