Paper Florist Slimline – Celebrate You.

Hi! Last card for today.  I appreciate you sticking with me…

A few Tic Tac Toe Boards are up for grabs this week and I mixed them up with the Atlantic Hearts (#535) Slim Line Sketch for which I created a Mini-Slim Line card and the Time Out (#243) Inspiration Photo Colors.

Over at Tic Tac Toe (#219) there are three lines that work: Top Row – Layers / Stitching / Shape; Middle Row – Ribbon / Die Cut / Embossing; and Left Column – Layers / Ribbon / and Patterned Paper and over at Paper Players (#651) there is another line that works: Left Diagonal – Flowers / Die Cuts / Slim Line.

 Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (7” x 6” scored at 3½”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3¼” x 5¾”) Blushing Bride Water Colored patterned piece of paper from the retired Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper pack.
• Flowers and Leaves: Brushed Gold (retired), Blushing Bride (retired), Basic White and Smoky Slate cardstock scraps from my bin.
  • Using various dies from the Paper Florist Dies set, the Flower pieces were cut.
  • The layered Flowers were assembled.
• Sentiment Banner: Smoky Slate cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Celebrate You, from the Dainty Delight stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The sentiment was die-cut with the (2⅛” x ⅞”) Stitched Banner die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Sentiment Banner was popped up with double Dimensionals and a small Bow was tied using retired Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and tucked up under the edge of the Banner.

A very pretty soft colored floral card.  Suitable for any occasion, birthday, congratulations, anniversary…you pick.
