By My Side – Life is Better with You

Welcome back!

Starting the day with a very clean and simple card for AAA Cards (#244) and selecting the colors suggested on the bottom row of the Tic Tac Toe Board by Color Dare (#588) using the new to me stamp set By My Side.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Butterfly image from the Nose of the Curly-Headed Girl stamp was inked with the Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker and stamped in place.
  • The Puppy image from the Boy with Dog stamp was also inked with the Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker but was stamped in place with the aid of the Stamp-a-ma-jig Positioning Tool.
  • The sentiment was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
  • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blend Markers.  Colors Used: Butterfly – Light Tahitian Tide (for Lagoon) and Dark Flirty Flamingo (for Raspberry); Puppy – Ivory and Bronze (for Neutrals); and Ground and Shading – Light Smoky Slate (for Minx).

And that was that!  Such a cute little dog…making friends with garden visitors.
