Summer Sweets

Welcome back!  The temperature today is pushing 90 degrees.  Not sure about you, but I think I would prefer Iced Cream over Iced Donuts or Iced Cupcakes if I have a choice…

That said, I am creating this card for Inspired By (#243) and TGIF (#426) using the retired Cool Treats stamp set.

Here is the result:

COOL TREATS – IB243 – TGIFC426

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Mint Macaron cardstock (retired).
  • Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • Three Cupcake Cone images were stamped with 2nd Generation (stamped-off once) Pecan Pie ink.
    • The coordinating Cone Waffle image, the word, Sweet, and the sentiment, I hope your day is as sweet as you are, were stamped with Pecan Pie ink,
    • The Ice Cream image was stamped with Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam inks.
    • The coordinating Swirl image was stamped with Daffodil Delight, Fresh Freesia and retired Mint Macaron inks.
  • The panel was dry-embossed with the On-Line Exclusives Cross-Hatch pattern (bottom) and Bubble Dot pattern (top) Basics 3D Embossing Folders

Easy – peasy, summer – breezy!
