Graceful Tile Cascade – Thank You

Good Morning!  Welcome back to the work week.

Having a play with the Freshly Made (#576) Sketch and choosing the colors from Color Dare (#538)

Here is the result:

GRACEFUL TILES – FLOWERING TULIPS – FMS576 – CD538

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pale Papaya cardstock.
  • Circle Cascade: Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with Stitched Circle dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.  Sizes: (2⅛”), (1⅝”) and (⅞”)
    • The various Tile designs from the Graceful Tiles stamp set were stamped with Mint Macaron (for Sage), Pale Papaya (for Melon) and Balmy Blue (for Periwinkle) inks.
  • Sentiment Circle: Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Thank you – you are so thoughtful, from the Flowering Tulip stamp set was stamped with Balmy Blue ink.
    • The Sentiment was punched out with the retired (1¾”) Circle Punch

Letting the focus rest upon the pretty Tile patterns, the circles were arranged in a cascade to resemble the sketch and the Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.

  1. I love your card and the design of images in circles. Unfortunately your colors are not all close enough to count for this challenge. Please keep sharing your artwork as we really enjoy it.

  2. Beautiful rendition of the sketch. Love that the sentiment circle is not stitched…makes it stand out a little. Thanks for sharing at Color Dare.
