Welcome to the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge (#397) launching today!
This week, we have a Mood Board to serve as Inspiration for your Fall themed project. I am looking forward to seeing what you will inspire you.
Several current challenges also have this theme, and I will play with them too! Color: Sunday Stamps Challenge (#291), Paper Players (#607) and Four Seasons (September).
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Crushed Curry cardstock dry-embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
- Focal Panel: (1¾” x 4¼”) Black and White Leaf patterned piece of paper from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper pack.
- The Leaves were colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends and retired Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers. Oak: Medium Daffodil Delight, Gingko: Dark Daffodil Delight, Maple: Light Old Olive, Large Chestnut: Light Mossy Meadow, Small Chestnut: Light Cajun Craze
- Sentiment Label: (2¼” x ⅝”) Cajun Craze cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, Thinking of You, from the Season of Chic stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
With all the pieces complete, the elements were adhered to the card base. A (5½”) piece of Natural Finish Ribbon was adhered behind the colored patterned paper and the sentiment label was popped up with Dimensionals.
A very pretty fall themed colored card. As I have mentioned before, a stash of “thinking of you” cards are always handy to have.
