A couple of deadline are looming and I wanted to play with them…
Here is the result:
- Focal Image: (2¾” x 2¾”) Basic White cardstock. The Little Girls on the Beach and the Seagull images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the lower left corner. The image was colored with a variety of Stampin’ Blends. Dresses – Balmy Blue, Pails – Rich Razzleberry, Sand – Smoky Slate, Skin – Petal Pink and Hair – So Saffron and Daffodil Delight.
- Top Panel: (3” x 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock. The circle shape was die-cut with the (3”) Layering Circle Die. The panel was then dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder in a crisscross pattern and adhered over the Focal image.
- Accent Panel: (3¼” x 4½”) Rich Razzleberry cardstock.
- Sentiment Label: (3” x ¾”) Basic White cardstock scrap. The sentiment, We can make it…, from the Count On Me stamp set was stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink and shaped with the Treasured Tags Pick-a-Punch.
All the elements were assembled as per the sketch and adhered to a Balmy Blue card base (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”).
The partially open window is a nice element to highlight an image. One last trip to the Beach before School starts and the Sisters will always be there for each other through thick and thin.
